Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker Model Black (4-Driver)

Descripción

Summary

Trembucker is a spaced-out version of the legendary JB model, which has been the best hot-rodded humbucker for almost four decades. A true modern classic.

Description

The JB humbucker is our most popular pickup of all time. Blues, country, fusion, punk, hard rock, grunge, thrash—the JB has always sounded fantastic, even as new genres emerged around it. The bass is full and powerful, the treble is crisp and detailed, and there's a boost in the upper midrange that adds saturation and body to heavy chords, but results in a vocal-like quality when playing single notes or solos. Meanwhile, the high output pushes your amp a little harder for more sustain and harmonics.

Use it with a 500k volume pot for excellent treble cut, or try a 250k pot to sweeten and smooth the sound for gentler styles. It pairs especially well with Jazz or '59 neck pickups, and some players even like to use a JB model in the neck position for an extra-heavy solo sound.

Trembuckers have wider spacing between the pole pieces, perfect for symmetrical positioning under the strings of guitars with tremolo or hardtail bridges with wide spacing (2 or more widths from the center of low E to high E directly above the bridge pickup).

Hand-built in our Santa Barbara, California factory, the Trembucker JB uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel-plated bottom plate, 4-conductor wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax-coated for noise-free operation.
