Epiphone Crestwood Custom (Tremotone)
Descripción
The Epiphone Crestwood Custom pays homage to a pioneering electric guitar design. In its day, the Epiphone Crestwood Custom was manufactured alongside the now-historic Gibson instruments at Gibson's factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Like its siblings, the Epiphone Coronet and Epiphone Wilshire, the Crestwood Custom has the soul of a garage rock guitar, evoking the subversive sound of bands like The 13th Floor Elevators, the Mysterians, and MC5. This contemporary version features all the hallmarks of the original design: a symmetrical mahogany body with a double cutaway, a set mahogany neck, two vintage-sounding mini-humbuckers, and a highly accurate Tremotone vibrato. However, it's a thoroughly modern machine with premium finishes, including high-quality CTS potentiometers, Graph Tech nut and saddles, a downsized Kalamazoo headstock with the Epiphone Bikini emblem, and an ultra-fast 12-inch radius fingerboard. The guitarists at RingoMusic have been clamoring for a reissue of this cult classic for ages. Now that it's finally here, we can't resist playing it!
