Description
The '59 bridge model (SH-1b) is a vintage-output humbucker, ideal for all types of rock and blues. We designed these vintage-style coils to ensure their quality firmly establishes this pickup within the PAF family. The alnico 5 bar magnet and wax coating were added to compensate for the lighter guitar strings and more powerful amplifiers used in the 1950s. The result is a pickup with plenty of old-school sonic character, but with brighter treble and a more compressed sound.
